£14k for a 58plate 520d? find one on higher miles they pop up for MILES cheaper than that all the time..

Only "new" and "exec" car I'd have in a heartbeat...

Ace to drive, lovely places to be, the early '00s Mercedes image still hasn't gone yet so they're still not holding their value like an Audi, the engine is more gruff than the likes of the BMW, but they're a lovely built car, and if you get one with a few toys on it'll hold it's value much better...

Make sure you get a manual BlueEfficiency, they are THE most aerodynamic car on the market at the moment, 60+mpg is no issue at all... If you granny it you will nudge the 70s...

I'm probably gonna go ahead and get a 525d m sport business edition in red pending a test drive of the a4 and 520d

Then new exhaust system and remap and leave it alone!!
