Yeah Sam but in all honesty the fire is further away than it looks and is about 3ft below the concrete plinth the silver Hdi(which is another breaker) is on.

Things left to do to the Diablo - engine out, dash out, loom out and cut the rest up.
Hdi: wheels back on haul it back engine n box out then remove any remaining good panels and start chopping that up too.
Being as I'm no longer going to be able to help Spike due to my operation on my hand on monday I volunteer MissH as I hear she likes smashing up cars though she may have to bring her own axe :p

Only way round it is a tailboard but still got to wait for everything to cool down sufficiently front end and bonnet mounted on a rear beam with an oil drum bbq dropped in the engine bay is probably better and more aerodynamic as long as there is sufficient gap around the drum and its nowhere near the rear panel or you use a few old heat shields

You should do a chopped roof on a 306. Like they do to some cars in the US. Take an inch or two off the height of the pillars then reattach the roof.
Wonder what it would like like. Seen loads done on west coast customs and that chip foose guys show, over hauling.
