Wet/Leaking Injector

Hi guys, i have recently cleaned engine bay and since have noticed that one injector nearest gearbox is wet (with diesel) and seemed to have a bubble from the injector nut when i opened bonnet the other day

Now can i just take out and nip up or do i need an replacement injector

Just took some piccies, i think i may take cheapest option and put another leak off pipe and make a new blank as this one doesnt look the best





And worst case anyone got 1 spare injector

probably wont be a bust injector - just make sure that top union is tight, and the leak offs are intact - where they're braided they may appear fine, but may be leaking from a small crack inside.

Spot on mate ta for reply was thinking this myself but just wanted to be sure,
will get some fresh leak off tomoz and see how we go and nip union up

Also, this? I assume you're referring to the union nut?
As above, yes, just 14mm? (iirc) just get it tight, but be careful, i know you're a monster and all so dont snap anything...

Yeahh the one on the top ive rounded an injector in a head in the past just nipping up haha

well i forgot to use the Torque wrench and didnt realise my own strength with the breaker bar haha oops, lesson learnt as had to get a new head after having that one ported etc lol

Only got 16" forearms now and heading for "20 bicepts
