I have been having a look on the old maps first and I may well need to do a drive first just to make sure its not a pi$$ take and too far for some after a long drive down/up/across lol Like I said its been a while since I've lived there and just want to be sure that my routes aren't mixed up. My geography of the country is pretty sound - locally I'm shite lol. Will see how things go tomorrow as its the dreaded MOT then try and get up there next weekend after the .net cough cough midlands meet and give you some routes after that but my mot actually expires the 24th so have a week to sort before retest lol Oilburner - is that the best you can manage. I'll have to see if one of my Facebook friends that does a bit of glamour work is up for it - here is the ever so gorgeous Elly She can polish my bonnet any day

So when and where is the next midlands meet? Really eagor to meet you all and see what these meets are like since ive never been to one please let me know
15-11-2012, 06:34 PM
Well I suggested it but if others want to bring it forward that's fine by me - just thought everyone would be tight for cash now up until crimbo and just after.
Think about the costs Fuel to and from + going for a spin whist there ain't cheap for everyone especially the loons in the 6's lol The cost of the rolling road run if your doing it - note: 10 or more cars are needed to run on the day to get the price down to £25 each Then there's the food if you want to go for a pub meal with a couple of drinks - best part of £75 gone for a lot of people , more for some and less for others. So many meets rolling road days fall on their arises because people turn round and say I can't afford it at the last minute - well if we go for when I suggested it gives peeps time to put a bit by and sort their cars if needs be. Just means everyone has a chance to attend then no excuses so if Kezzieboy wants to run a poll on suitable dates and find out when smart performance can fit us in everyone has a date to put in their diaries on their calendars and get reminded the fcuk out of as it draws nearer lol.
15-11-2012, 06:48 PM
In can guarantee my con-rods will be down a drain at the roadside before we do this meet haha
15-11-2012, 06:52 PM
This thread has just gone down hill and is now an epic failure.
PH1 306 XUD - 11mm VE, Big 'bine, TMIC = Plenty of coal, abuse, heatsoak and a power band of 4.3k - 6k = One shagged car.
15-11-2012, 07:50 PM
If its gonna be feb/march next year put me down for rolling as the new engine will be run in, be nice to know stock performance of it before i spec the hell outa it
15-11-2012, 07:53 PM
I'm RR'ing my car either way... if anyone else wants to then we can sort it out
15-11-2012, 08:21 PM
Well it's too late to be before xmas for me (and I imagine most, now), and I'm not back in Brum until mid-January, so late January would be best for me
