Well I've just been reading up on these on the old tinter web and was shocked to find (NOT) that most of the claims are complete boll**ks and the rest are loosely based on lies

Has anyone used or tried any personally ?

you're not serious, right? Sorry to seem harsh, but if you stop and think for two seconds, how can magnets affect fuel? Petrol and diesel are non ferrous....

what? You do know that those electric superchargers do actually work? Ive seen them on loads of saxos and all the owners said they were running 200+bhp D:

proof is in the desciption!

Quote:"Once installed, every time you press your gas pedal past 50% pressure, the 20,000+ RPM motor in the intake will breathe 2- 3 POUNDS PER SQUARE INCH (PSI) of super high pressure air into your engine. With the amazing burst of super pressurized air comes a nice racing sound which lets the entire competition know what to expect. Double the horsepower output of ANY normal air intake system"

Not always I know someone who for 3 months argued his 1.6 mondeo mk1 was 160bhp at the rear wheels

Best fuel saving gadget is something like a scan gauge that gives you an instant mpg readout. Does a great job of making you lift off.

That's amazing! I must get hold of one of these rwd mondeos, could be the new type 9!

Scangauges are good, particularly for use as above, but don't rely on them for research on specifics of driving style improvement - the information they use to calculate mpg doesn't always translate into the real world.

Ive found only one fuel saving device that actually works!

6 inch's of 2X4 placed under the throttle pedal
stops you hitting the smile zone on the rev counter
really improves fuel economy !

Sand in the fuel tank helps with MPG

the sand reacts causing a sandomoneum effect which enables your flux capacitor to run on full power, seperating fuel particles and adds 1000000 bhp
