I'm thinking of having a spare engine in my boot, just in case the worst was to happen!!
I'm going to film it and prove to Jezza you can get a diesel round this God damn track in under 10 mins

does anyone know the deal on stripping out back seats to hit the ring. is it legal to drive from here to there with no back seats when the v5 shows a 5 seater?

If you've got stuff in the back it might just look like your seats are folded down anyway?
Failing that flatten your seats then when you do lap time take them out and stick them in your tent.
I need to sort getting my v5 changed as I will permanently be having buckets and obviously no rears

When I spoke to my insurers they said to check with dvla which I did, and they said to me if the car is capable of having seats bolted back in, which it is then there is no need to change the logbook

Us on the log book it doesn't say how many seats it's meant to have.... At least mine doesn't anyway

Vaughan was organising this before, chances of it being finished were low as it was, and now he's binned the '6, well... Might be best if someone else volunteers to take over organising it, would do so myself, but i've not got the spare time atm.

I still aim to go!
I was hoping we could discuss this at the Christmas meet as most people will be there. I did say originally I wanted to book around Christmas time so it times quite nicely.
6 or not - ill be going. X

No offence fella, but have you actually done anything further towards organising the group trip? It's fine to leave it 'til the last minute if you're going by yourself, but it's a completely different story with a group, speaking from experience. :S
Good to see you're still coming though, hoping i can make it, but need concrete details to work with first.
