Refurbed my wheels 6 months back. Looked good but I used crap laquer and basically the brake dust has ruined them so it's time to refurb them.
Two options.
Either gold like kingys or dum dums (for once I actually like something Chris did!)
Or shadow chrome.
Opinions?
Of course if people want to do some photoshops, feel free

Nah goona splitter looks good when it's fitted properly....basically not with 4 cable ties.

Gold! Although the shadow chrome was nice on Scott's clones, the gold will stand out more and look really niiice

That is shadow chrome..
From what I've read on it, it's not easy to do a cheap job of; you need to undercoat the alloy in black, then put a very light coat of silver over the top... I do agree it looks porno though but that's why you wont find it 'in a can' in the shops!!

Ed is exactly right, much like a pearl finish the shadow chrome is a two-stage process, effectively two different colours.
I'll have a crack at photoshop now...
