1st car: 1989 metro van in white, 998cc a series with a mg metro exhaust fitted. dont ask what happen with this swapped for my speedfight with 47k on the clock
2nd car: 2001 saab 9-3 coupe in gun metal grey, 2.2 tid 16v went like shit off a shovel. sold this due to my financial situation changing and being job less and 18 wasnt able to run her paid £1300 for her
3rd car: 1999 peugeot 206 1.6 glx , 60k on the clock, changed the clutch twice in 4 months, first time to a standard 206 clutch then to a saxo vtr flywheel clutch ect should of done the gearbox aswell, but it hit the limiter rather quickly, that was decat'ed and had a chavy induction kit fitted, but paid peanuts for this aswell, £240
4th car was my p1 bianca dtub paid £180 for it needing a new water pump, did the cambelt while i was there, that was on a bosch with a straight through, painted a few bits ended up breaking it.
5th car is what im driving now, my black p1 dtub the only mod so far is the straight through but its in good original condition, but just watch this space.

ive got abit of history behind jordans cars
(21-08-2012, 09:20 PM)JJ0063 Wrote: Got lucky next with a 93 plate astra 1.4 gls, loads of gadgets, felt like luxury after the AX. bought it for £220 with genuine 68k on the clock. sold it for £360 with 74k on it: dented the bonnet
it needed some work so took a clio in part ex from danny2009 which turned out to be one of the most reliable cars ive ever had: dented the wing and used to get wet in it alot
then fancied something faster so got a rover 220 td running a bosch VE. nicest car ive ever driven, looked pants really but drove brilliant. burnt the clutch out trying to get out of a fireworks event as they made us park in a boggy field. scrapped it in the end: fell out of it/ jordan drove off with me half in half out
aswell as being there when he destroyed the clutch
it went green laning too:
needed a car urgently, ended up in this, sold it after 5 days.
had a few interesting trips in this by far the funniest car ever! i had to sit in the middle!
mother put some money towards a half decent car for my xmas pressie, got this 206, loved it even though it was chavvy, then it started braking & it kept failing its mot on emissions, so sold it on.
still got videos of drivng in the snow in this
Sigma, blew up after 5 days & dan touching it
my brothers old car
I dunno how many ive got there but I know ive had 32 cars & been driving since June 2009...

(This post was last modified: 26-08-2012, 06:51 PM by C2K.)
I've had quite a short history, excluding cars I bought to break.
1) Rover 214 SEi 16V on an M plate - Tahiti blue 2 lady owners and 40K on the clocks - had it 2 months before i put it into a bush, which had a rock in it. Completely smashed in the front end, split the gearbox the lot. Had to take the hit and move on.
2) Rover 214 SEi 16V on an M plate - stop gap Tahiti blue clone of the first one, much worse condition. 86K on the clocks and loads of rust like it had never been washed through the winters. Got bent over when i sold it as was desperate for the money.
3) Rover 220 GSi Turbo on an L plate - bought from a forum owner and modified it to the extreme - engine rebuild, steel cages bearing rebuild on the blox, GT28R, intercooler, 2.5 turbo back exhaust, AVC-R, 4 pot brembos, triple strut braces etc. Rust got the better of it after 7 years (17 years old then) and the clutches I was led to believe were the way to go were so unreliable it took away my passion for it after 2 track day mishaps with them - was brutal in a straight line, much to the dismay of an FQ360 owner who expected me to be slim pickings - I was running 18psi and nigh on 275bhp at the time. He got the fright of his life, poor mr mid-life crisis.
4) Peugeot 306 HDi - moved to Peterborough in 2005 from Preston to start a new job, and to see the girlfriend and family involved a hefty commute that was murdering the Rover with tyres and petrol being consumed at an alarming rate. Looked for a 3 door 306 HDi and couldn't get to most of them fast enough when this one popped up in Autotrader. I saw it before it was even washed and put a deposit on it there and then after a short test drive. £4200 with two owners and 4 years 3 months old and 69k on the clock. 7 years later it now has 237K on the clock and has been parked up the whole time i've been in SA!
5) TVR Cerbera 4.5 V8 - a boyhood dream come true. If you think your car is fast - you should come along for a ride. 420BHp and 1100 kgs. Bought for rather a lot more than the HDi, but working overseas with my current company made the dream a reality.
6) Peugeot 306 Rallye - bought as an already caged track prepared car. It had been bodged in so many indescribable ways and it was a tapper but the shell was straight and true (i hope it is anyway! haha - not had an MOT yet) - I was partway through supercharging it when I came to SA.
When I bought it:

I remember you posting that on GTI6, didn't you have to swerve at the end of a slip road or something?

I used to use P6000s as they were all i could afford on the HDi and they would give me 36K on the front of the car, I spent life sitting at 70mph on the motorway. I run Michelin Energy Savers now.

When I get a HDi that'll be the daily and it'll stay for quite a while, but now I'm 25 I can indulge my love of classics. Fancy a mk1 MR2, only 300 quid a year to insure for me now

My mates still got his first car after 8 years! An L-reg, 3-door, 1.4 Astra...
Of course over the years it's picked up a 2.0 8 valve engine, lowered 40mm, GSi interior, but he still loves it!
