just curious but do you guys use cb's ?? just set mine up in the car tonight and thought it may be a laugh if we were driving anywhere !

you cant run it off your car ariel ... The one im using is a magnetic mount and the cable runs through the tailgate seals ... Doesnt leak ... i just need to work out where to put the unit as there isnt a lot of spare room !. Im thinking center console. Ill take some pictures of the set-up if you like ??

they are fairly cheap http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TTI-TCB-550-C ... 2610wt_711 ..... or ...bit of a long shot but if you got maplins vouchers then they sell a lot of cb stuff ??

ok ill take some pics tomorrow in the light ... at the moment it looks a bit ropey as i have an old top protecting the roof but ill be getting some clear vinyl to protect the paint soon which will tidy it up ... and you can get different ariels as well some are only a foot long for close range stuff (about 3 miles) and others are about 5 foot for about a 10 mile range ...
