engine loom XUD

My main wiring loom I took off my car to get my engine out is in a pretty bad way, exposed wires and the like. Would it be relatively simple to make a new one myself? I would use all the right wires etc. And copy my old.one.

I'd say it would probably be better if done properly as you can get rid of a load of useless wires that seem to hang around doing nothing.
