To get rid of a cat put it in a bag with a brick and drop it in a river

Patent cats are usually smaller and look cheap. Genuine Pug cat will be bigger and look quality. Post up a pic.

It depends entirely on whats in it, some aftermarket ones do still have the platinum and stuff in there........its all coded on the cat somewhere. I got £40 for my genuine cat (full of oil) off the Golf lol.

And dont wanna jack the thread but does anyone know how much scrap prices are for iron/steel atm?

if you cant find anywhere decent to flog the cat pickeys normally travel to the best places for prices and round here give £35-£40 each cat for a 306 sized one

Just like a ginger. Make sure you tie the bag though otherwise they can swim away.

LOL no, my local yards dont do the best prices as some have stopped accepting cats as they were getting too many stolen ones meaning the remaining yard that did take them had no competition so dropped its prices.

Also London yards have higher running costs so pay lower prices.

A lot of places round here don't do them either Matt, just to warn you. Was a right joke hauling the cabby one round til someone would accept it, I ended up having to go to EMR group.
