Standard map

I want to put a standard map back on my hdi as i look to sell it, its got a s2 one atm and i dont have a standard map file (i bought the car with the map on), but i seem to be having an issue with the checksum tool, i got the file of prosteve's site but i cant get the checksum to work like he does in the video on YT.
Any help here please?

Is the car stage 2 with an intercooler etc?

Have you removed the intercooler and reduced boost etc?

If all that is done then I can happily sort a standard file out for you.


Just email me your current file at mrwhippy@gowhippy.com and I'll make sure I send you a corrected chk original spec file back.

Or send the original file that you got off Steve's website and I'll chk it for you.

Is it a 362 ECU, just remember there are two similar but different software for those, the other one is rare but just make sure you have the right file if you downloaded one for 362 (or any ECU for that matter!) check the full h/w and s/w string!

Hi Dave yes it is, ive had to fit a new clutch as mine failed big time, i just got a standard luk one but obv been careful as i have a S2 map on but have turned the boost down, the fmic set up will be removed as soon as i sort a stock 90 map on, Ok i will send over what i got on sunday, yes its a 362 ecu.
