so some of you know im currently building another eatoned xu10 205, this time its for a good friend he bought my old setup from me and i said i would help him. Ive wired a brand new omex 600 into it and got it running on my old map. Anyway it has been a few weeks and it has been starting ok but taking some time, exhaust is leaking badly so i had no and limited wideband feedback. Started it today from cold no problem switched off then went to restart it a few mins later, meanwhile friend is leaning over the engine checking as it turns over then all off a sudden BANG! followed by fumes. Meanwhile my friend has shat his pants from shock i knew it was a inlet back fire and expected the worse.
My suspicions were correct



luckily ive a friend that will weld it back up, Suspect is cam timing as it is a phase 1 engine and believe someone has been messing with the pulleys.

In conclusion it was well worth it watching my friend crap him self haha.
