Can I stick a jubilee clip on the small end of the cv boot, where it sits on the driveshaft? Can't get the clip to grip on it. Will it foul anything?

Can't see it fouling anything on the small end tbh. Could get away with a cable tie there if you preferred though.

The official answer would be no. But i see it often, and never had an issue caused by it.

It is surprising how often I see a jubilee clip on cv boots. Would be ok but I would go for a cable tie on the small end

I have a jubilee clip here, that why I ask! The new clip that came with the boot it just a little too big and doesn't hold a firm grip

no, a sturdy cable tie will suffice however.
if the clip is not gripping it will need pulling or crimping tighter.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.
