5 doors are FTW though..... :?
Unless you have a NAD with no central locking....then thank f*ck for only 3 doors to lock!

Its called the "306 HDi Shooting Break" Obviously they didn't go into actual production though!

Samass the idea is great and if you do it good luck to you. But the photoshop really needs more adding too it.

nice! why'd you leave the door handles tho? and the roof bars?

personally i thought it looked better with handles, but back to my cave i go
01-05-2012, 01:39 PM
IMO they look a bit silly with the side strips smoothed off. Certain smoothing looks good but if you go too far you just end up with a car that has no proper 'lines' or design to it.
01-05-2012, 01:42 PM
they can do, yeah, but sometimes it can tie in with the rest of it. i normally prefer the strips left too, but i want to see what it looks like at the extreme

The problem is, even with smoothed bumpers you still have the line at the top of the front/back bumper where it meets the rest of the car (bootlid and grill/wings) which you cant smooth - unless you are getting silly with fibreglass!
Thats why I reckon smoothed bumpers with the sidestrips left on is the best idea
01-05-2012, 01:51 PM
more than likely lol
need to brush up on my welding (read: take a course and actually learn), save probably about 4 grand, then ill start haha yep think i'm leaning towards agreeing with dan, smoothed in bumpers are a pain Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club

Deffo too much. Just takes away the sweet lines that a 306 has 8-) Stick to smoothed bumpers and little bits like handles/indicators.
01-05-2012, 02:01 PM
indicators would have to be remounted somewhere? maybe on the wing mirrors?
01-05-2012, 02:02 PM
nah id leave them be i think, any attempt to relocate them would more than likely turn out crap

I think Carlos attemp looks best with some smooth parts. But could be because it's a better shop and angle.
