Xsara vts dampers (slightly shorter than gti6)
And there gti springs, but the diesel engine weights are close enough to gti that these will be good for either

Where abouts in Devon are you? Annoyingly I don't think I'll be coming home for a while, but might be able to persuade someone to pick them up for me if you're near the a30? Just cba with posting postage when I drive through Devon at least 5 times a year!
