Hi I'm thinking of selling my car and would appreciate your views on its worth?
1998 china blue dturbo s
3 door, immaculate half leather interior, phase 3 light conversion
dturbo mats all round
sony head unit with amp wiring installed
4 great tyres, new discs and pads, new drop links,cambelt,injector pipes new rad new rear box new battery
boost gauge in drivers vent ,electric windows ,air con
sp front bumper
M.O.T august, TAX June
Bad points
Pulls to left(tracking fine)
front bumper and hockeys sticks slight different colour from car
small dent o/s/f wing
Possible HG failure , never overheated but water will boil when under power.(NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE ITS DISCOVERY)
Still starts and drives great

surely worth more to to you to take your time and strip head off and fix it?

Leaf leathers are common, but if the drivers seat has no bolster rip that's pretty rare these days lol.
I wouldn't say its worth fixing either tbh, with time and cost it takes for a headgasket/head skim etc. Cut your losses imo. Either sell for someone to drop an engine in or strip the good parts and scrap the rest.

could get lucky and find an engine with a bosch etc on it, drop it in, strip old engine for parts and weigh in the rest.
if you did the work yaself, could break even or make profit depending on how cheap you got an engine

Mine must be rare then as the seats have no rips in them. Just gonna cut my losses and put her on gumtree for around £300.

Ok I've decided to cut my losses and sell it on gumtree I don't have the time or the money to fix it myself.

It has more wrong with it. Possible head gasket failure,boiling coolant

Not sure fella ,the bumper is a slightly different shade to the car.

Ph3 light conversion will be worth abit! Very rare optional extra!
And as Rowell said, the sp bumper will be worth some cash, plus any other sp parts
