Noises

Ive got a clicking/tapping noise coming from the gearbox although when i put the clutch pedal down the noise goes away. ALso when I pull away the front passenger side wheel shakes vigorously. any ideas? Gearbox on its way out or?

Sounds like release bearing the noise if it goes away when you put clutch in but could also be a f*cked gearbox if it's doing that to the wheel that or the wishbones

I think it might be the gearbox as I have trouble sometimes getting into 3rd gear you have to double clutch it. Also get a whining noise in 5th gear.

Yea box is f*cked no doubt about it sounds like its had no oil in

Yeah that would make sense as the previous owner also let the engine oil get low. I topped it up though before the journey home.
