recently got a 307 110 2.0 hdi can i gain boost the old way like the d turbos or do i need to get manual boost controller and a remap??

Remap. Dont think you need a boost controller until you go stage 2. I think.
Doesnt even own a 306.

Boost on the 110's is controlled by the ECU, remap is needed but you don't need a boost controller

If it runs better without it, it's f*cked and could ideally could do with replacing, however it isn't going to do any harm if you don't, just be a bit smokier

Nobody here will have a map for the 110 as it has boost control on the ECU that our cars dont.

No - stop being cheap - go and pay a mapper for one.
