Just trying to sort through / chuck out / sell stuff that I don't use any more and came across this keyboard.
Scanning through Wikipedia:
Quote:The Model M keyboard, colloquially called a clicky keyboard, is a class of computer keyboard manufactured by IBM, Lexmark and Unicomp, starting in 1984. The many different variations of the keyboard have their own distinct characteristics, with the vast majority having a buckling spring key design and many having fully swappable keycaps. Model M keyboards have been prized by computer enthusiasts and heavy typists because of the tactile and auditory feedback resulting from a keystroke.

The Model M is also regarded as a timeless and durable piece of hardware.[citation needed] Many units manufactured since the mid-1980s are still in use today, while the computers and monitors of the day are obsolete. Unicomp, which now owns the rights to the design, continues to sell Model M keyboards. Recently, the keyboards have made a comeback among writers and computer techs.[1] Unicomp has had difficulty making them profitable because they rarely break, and most retailers will not stock such an expensive keyboard.[1]
None listed on eBay as far as I can see. Only on specialist websites.

Dunno what to do with it, chuck it back in the attic for another 18 years or sell it now?

Any idea of value anyone? I'm guessing £20+ upwards?

Some hipster twat will buy it no doubt. List on ebay as "retro" and "hip" and "cool" and "dickhead" and "fixie bike" and "not mainstream" and some faggot who buys all his clothes from charity shops and only breathes once an hour because breathing is too mainstream will bid it up a million pounds really early because sniping is also too mainstream.

It has retro value, but not 'proper' mechanical keyboard retro value.
