As above I need ASAP as the tyre from the rear of the car has had a disagreement with the rim...I have a steel spare wheel but only have alloy bolts so they would screw in far enough to hold the rim on!
Or can I borrow a 15" std pug alloy which uses the flat seated studs.
Help urgently as the car is on a jack with 3 wheels!
Delivery of the bolts or rim would be a life saver!

Flat faced bolts are alright to put in steelies briefly they have a taper at the top for the steel rim to sit on

These don't but that's not the problem...because my cars a drum model the bolts are too long to go through a thin steel wheel compared to the thick alloy rims, making something knock inside the drum as u turn the wheel on a jack Sad(

I looked for steel wheel bolts as they're shorter but couldnt find any..in the end I got some thick washers fitted between wheel and flat wheel bolt head...a bodge to get me to the tyre place tomorrow Smile
