gti6 brake upgrade problem

hi guys went to upgrade my brakes on my 306 1.9d 2000 to the bigger gti6 brakes but came across a problem the caliper isnt lining up with the hub and the bolts arent going in its the lucas type gti6 brakes anybody else had this problem

Are you chaning the carriers? The bit the caliper bolts to.. which bolts to the hub?

yip have the full lot carrier and caliper

I know with mine had to use bolts from gti6

They should line up no problem, bolt holes on hub to gti6 caliper carrier

thats what a thought but nope am starting to think ive been ripped off with my 283mm discs the caliper still needs to come out another 40mm so going to try and get my money back

there definitely off a 406 check with my mates 406 coupe and there the exact same and managed to get hold of calipers off a gti6 and there different but i now have the proper calipers and moneys been refunded lol
