A price range would be good mate. I could recommend you an awesome set, but they would set you back £3.5k

Alpine typeE. or R.
both excellent, get for £20 second hand and are slim enough to fit snug without hacking away at your door Wishes for more power...

Grant what about the Focals you were selling? They seem to be shit hot, did they need work to fit though?

Kwik's bought them mate.
They're fugging awesome speakers, just needed to trim the door card a little to get them to fit Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club 2000 Moonstone 1.8 Meridian - Sold 2000 China 3dr XS - Dead 1998 Diablo 3dr XSI

Another +1 for the focals. I have them all round in my car and the sound quality is amazing for a relatively low budget speaker.

I' also interested in this since sorting my headunit I have realised just how terrible the standard speakers are. I have a couple of options:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLI-Undergroun...3f19e7e307 or Alpines: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALPINE-240W-2W...19d416d44c Baring in mind I want to be able to install these with the minimum of fuss without them looking chavy and out of place. Edit: Just seen this thread: http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-2400.html I'm not too bothered about keeping the grills on the front speakers which is why I am plumping for the Alpines at the moment because they look the most standard/least flashy. |
