My fuel light is useless on the 205 and I think I almost ran it down to the bottom of the tank. Since then I've lost top end power and sometimes if I'm lucky it will have full power briefly (the boost shoots up and it pulls well for a second). Ill be doing the oil, filter and fuel filter but just wanted to check what it could be!

Maybe fuel filter and try and blast the fuels with an airline, that should help !
Disclaimer - I think it would be ok to blow back thought the fuel lines with an airline but check with someone else first
the smokey old bus that sounds like a tractor...

It was indeed fuel filter as I thought.
Ill get a picture up when I'm on a PC later.
It's hands down the worst fuel filter I've ever seen!

Sickening isn't it!
Going to do the oil and filter this week too as if the fuel filters in that state then...

The tank could probably benefit from a good clean, is there anywhere else I should check how blockages?

by the look of that filter i'd clean the tank out and change filter again in a few weeks . .

Zzz, how would I go about cleaning the tank? Does it drop down from underneath or?

lot of faffing about mate, is this a 205 or 306 btw? . . . .306 tank is accessed under rear seat, maybe just syphon fuel out and clean out the sludge . .
