hi guys
i know theres a different bore between the gti6 n the standard 1.9 td master cylinder but does it brake any better or not
ive got discs front n rear (front gti6 set up)
n if there is
is there a easier way to change it without bleeding every corner
any info will be most helpful

Imo defo need to change it....
along with some decent 5.1 brake fluid and the pedal will feel epic!
...and no...need to bleed it all...but use it as a chance to put some decent fluid in it

It doesn't make the brakes any better but it does make them feel a lot better. Well worth it considering how cheap and easy to change they are.

unless you are phase win with no ABS and they don't fit . . .

Stupidly simple to swap. I think you just undo two brake lines, then undo two nuts and its off. Then opposite to fit new one. Think theres an O-ring remember to check thats there or re-use old one.

hi I've finally got round to trying to fit my gti6 master n found the bottom union is larger than my standard 1 just wondering if I've got the right master cylinder or not
part no 21028799 on cylinder
