Is my Dt doing this then??

Iv took all the cambelt casing off yesterday locked the cam & pump in all good , took the starter off locked the fly in , so all that lines up and locks off , now there is no slack between the cranck & pump also now slack between the pump and cam so this would suggest the timing is all correct. and i can i retard & advance the pump as far as it will allow yet the result is the same , This >>>

I'd just try loads of different positions with the pump. Mine runs like this in anything but its optimum position.

Iv been doing this on my own so its been loosen move it, start the car, turn it off , repeat several times, maybe need to get some one over so i can hold on to it and adjust whilst running,

Is your this bad it you adv/ret the pump out of optimum posision?

Thats sounds like its running on three cylinders, while its running loosen slightly the injector pipes one at a time to see which cylinder isnt working and work from there.

Fuel filter. My car was off the road for 6 months due to the same problem. I even made a thread about the ordeal!
