Could you put this on a standard hdi? Or even a stage 1? Do you not need anything else upgrading/uprating?

What's it rated to. Their usually stage 1, 2, 3. If its stage 3 from lk performance it should be a paddle

Is it like a racing clutch I.e a pain in the arse to pull off orrrrrrr?

Its not a paddle clutch, just an upgrade, the friction plate is an upgraded material so doesnt perish quickly and can hold more torque
