Ah thanks, hadn't even clocked that the slam panel and wings were different. I've not seen the 206 HDi engine before so I didn't realise.

Dont think i have ever seen a Black 306 estate. Shame cuz it looks look they look amazing in black.
The engine bay is defo a 206 with a 1.4 hdi lump

Estates are mostly meridian or meridian se spec, and these only come in 'good' colours, mostly pearlescent China and diablo, I think some meridians are silver too (not the common platinum iirc).
The pov spec LX estates were made in various colours though but are rarer (whod buy a pov spec from new!), things like astor are LX only on estates (dont forget there's no sport model like dturbo or xs), which is a shame as its the second best colour imo lol.
I've never seen a black one though tbh! But I'll guess it was an option or an LX...
