Speaker Sound Deadening?
#1
Can anyone link me to the vibration reducing panels that they have used and give me some pictures of how they have applied it? The 1.8 came with it fitted and id like to fit it again in the estate.

The only one i can think of is Dynamat.

But im sure halfords do a cheaper one but looks like i am wrong as i can only find Vibe Sound Deadening. Which is £10 more!

EDIT: Just found what I saw in halfords and what the 1.8 has. Its Silent coat. Seems to be a better deal than the other two.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silent-Coat-St...2c64ffa544

and

So yeh whats your experience and what isthe best brand/value for money?

Shopping around it seems like ebay is as good as anywhere to get it! Personally im swaying towards the silentcoat but im interest to hear what people think.

Thanks
Sam

ps Ill write up a guide when i do come to fitting it.

Go for silent coat. Just as good as dynamat (if not better) and a lot cheaper because your not paying for the name. Ive got it in my car and its great.

BrownBread is even better and no, I don't mean the stuff in the bakers or the supermarket - it is in fact a highly respected brand in the world of car audio.

Had dynamat in a previous car that I'm not allowed to mention on here and it was very noticeable.........if the other stuff is just as good then go for it!

Yep Ive got a massive roll of cloud 9 from when I sound deadened the 1.8 and Nauests estate. Ill have to start putting that in when its warmer!

I think Ill go for the silent coat then seeing as its cheaper and they are all much of a muchness!
