and its not katy perry's relationship with a zebra. or whatever.
its the heater in the nad, today it did get warm for ages, and then it got hot for a little bit, but not really all that hot, like, it has been much hotter before, then on the drive home from my sisters, its was pretty much cold all the way.
my thoughts:
-blocked/shit matrix
pretty much all i've got. was thinking of flushing out the coolant and changing the stat and making sure there is antifreeze in the system, not a load of bent '6 valves, cuz i know the previous owner is a bit of a bell cheddar.....
anyone else? answers on sticky backed unicorns please.

When you turn the fans on do they make an "ooooooooowwwwwwww" sound?
Could be the pipes block with debris from a tappy '6?
Or maybe a bit of gecko?
In seriousness give the system a good flush. Stick a hose in the matrix connections on the bulkhead and see if you can loosen anything up

Hahahha! That would be so funny. Just by abit of hose and connect it to a tap. Or give the pipe a blowie, you could suck a cricketball through a hose pipe so I'm sure you'd get that blockage out

B*stards the lot of you!
The heater in my ownership was, as I described it "like being coughed on by an asthmatic doormouse"...
The coolant system was filled with a good antifreeze before you got it, so you don't need to worry there.
I used to have to shiver to work with 5 layers on last winter; it's rather nice being in the '6 now by comparison!!

Don't flush the matrix through. Flush it backwards and you may dislodge something that was blocking a leak.
My suggestion. A nice healthy dose of MTFU

f*ck manning up, I hate being cold! If it leaks, it leaks, ill change it, don't Ming taking the dash out. However, putting it back on... Oh well, leave it out, RaceNad.

That sounds to me like a sticking 'stat, I would've thought if the matrix was blocked it'd never flow properly and stay cold. Flushing the cooling system is never a bad thing, just connect a hose to a tap...
You know, a tap? A TAP? A tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap?

I do what I do best
liam, that was one of my thoughts too, it does take ages to warm up in the morning. Gunna do a stat change, coolant flush and refill and see how it is
