Lol - the seller is clearly deluded and hasn't got a clue - there is no such gold standard as 28ct - The highest carat rating that can be given to gold is 24ct which is pure gold.
An ounce of pure gold is the most malleable metal known to man and can be rolled so thinly into gold leaf that it would be enough to cover a football pitch.
