It was lush. But sooooo slow and unsideways. And surprisingly impractical - There was more room in the rear seats in the poolow saloon!!
Still got twice than MPG the golf did.

My old mans swanning around in a knackered £600 XJ40 at the moment, it's a bit rough and does 20mpg but I could drive that to Cornwall and back and get out feeling fine!

That was an XJ6 3.2 'port' edition.
Drove it back from weston and averaged 25, more like 16 around town, but still better than the Golf ![]() The leather was soft, the ride was soft, it was nice, but just not me. |
