hey guys i was wondering what differences there are between the brake setup on a gti6 rear beam and the 1.8.
i.e. are the discs the same? Hmm

Iirc the only difference between the beams is the thickness of the torsion bars..

Yes brakes are same disks calipers pads (Bosch Lucas calipers can differ

For what it's worth, most disc beams from that era have the same calipers and discs, 106, 306, possibly even 205 ones fit

Good stuff. Ill update my project thread when they come and when i fit them but ive got drilled and grooved front and rear discs for £50 posted! Should look awesome even if they dont make any real difference!
