Hi guys, been on here for a few years but not made a thread or for that matter really been online so thought i should realy say hi and get involved.
Just a few pics below of the pug i've owned for 5 years now been through thick and thin and still going.

Went on a road trip London, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinbrough on easter weekend and kind of made me think i need to really get this car on the move again.

Will have to get a thread up soon.

ready for the road trip

Nice ride! Chuck something in those ruts outside your driveway, like a plank of timber! Fkn cobble stones, just spent half of weds and thurs cutting granite cobbles with a stihl saw Sad

I really should do but then have the problem of it will have to be huge because this is the dip from the side, the focus i have in the other pic is standard and thats only a few mm away from scraping because of the angle Sad

it's only tempory for now until i finally get round to making the full build also need to incorporate some new rear seats into it.
One sub on it's own bridged to the Pyle amp popped my boot open on a dual-carriageway a while ago so while driving i kind of have to keep the sub levels low now haha

A few scaffold bars tacked together and screwd down would get you over the dip!

i was thinking along the lines of a wooden wedge with scaffold planks but guess a few bars would probably be easier saves all the cutting Smile

hi Matt there not actually not banded believe it or not they are a very old oem Weller steel wheel usually found on the likes of Suzuki Jimnys, i used to have a set of oem Ronals off a Saab 900 before but didn't like them on the pug, like you say just a bit different Smile will try to find a closer pic

On the bottom pic you can just make out in between the 2 top bolt holes the Weller mark on them.

certainly different!
as for the sub, i'd suggest using a webbing strap for now. stronger than a bungee.
It goes, it stops (as reqd). Makeup
Hate Housework!

The bungee was the 1st thing i found in the boot after clearing it out so thought ye that'll do the trick for now lol, at the moment i've just got a split in the rad Sad so out of action again till i get some time of work to fit another, or maybe an engine swap Wink

just to add another strange oem on the car is the seats made by momo straight out of an Alfa 156 T-Spark estate got to be a little different every now and again Smile

this is what happened to the old interior (it didn't give birth to the dog he just loves the camera)
