I have just bought my 2nd 306!
I had my first 306 around 5 years ago, a fully specd/chavd up 1.6 with lowering springs, tints, decat, the lot.
This ones a 1999 meridian 5 door d turbo (xud9) in gold, half leather interior and a walnut dash!
Lucas pump unfortunately. 134k, good runner. Cost me £222 and so has a few issues to sort out- the heater blower doesnt work ( i think this will be relay under dash). Also there is a slight knock from rear, only noticeable over speed bumps hopefully just a bush that needs replacing.
Its completely standard- the only modification i want to do is get some 15" 205 gti alloys
I want to swap in a bosch pump to run it on svo. while i'm there i think i may as well change cam belt and water pump or anything else?
The coolant temperature sits around 78/80 degrees. Is this normal? Seems low.
How would a lucas pump handle a 50/50 mix of svo and petroleum diesel?
