I've just got behind the wheel of a '99 306 Meridian turbo diesel which has covered almost 169,000 miles - the last 11 years in the hands of one owner.
Both my wife and I have had 306s in the past - my experience was a P reg xtdt that used to be my mother-in-law's car, my wife had one that was going well past 250k miles, so I live in hope with this one.
No great plans for it as yet, it has to put up with my commute of a little over 100 miles a day so an audio upgrade is definitely on the cards - luckily I have a load of ICE from back in the day when a student loan came in very handy - and I'll investigate running on veg oil as anything to cut the cost of fuel is a bonus. Aside from that I'm just happy plodding along on the A350 every day for now.
