Alright guys had the airbox out and found oil on top of the gearbox in at the back, now I know my gearbox oil is low because the box is a bit clonky atm but I am wondering where it would be leaking from to end up there?

Be where someone's filled it through the breather hole and spilt it everywhere

The water heater pipe can sometimes hit the gearbox breather, this can allow oil mist from the box to escape and collect on top of the box.
I've had it do it on mine.
I had to bent the water heater bracket up a little to stop the pipe touching the breather. It's been fine since.

Probably a long shot because of the location but on mine the oil filler cap was goosed and caused oil to leak out profusely. New cap sorted it.
