Hey everyone I can get a R70 2.2HDI C5 Fuel pump and was wondering, If i got it and just installed it will it work fine with noticeable speed increase? Plus if i got the 1.6HDi fuel sensor will t work even better? Or does it need to be remapped to work?
So the theory to my question, will it work without a remap or not? and will I notice any speed difference?
Thanks

Yes, you can fit one and it'll run. No, it won't be any faster without a remap. I believe the same goes for the fuel sensor, although I think it might not even run correctly, I can't remember.
Basically, if you want more power without the hassle of going full stage 2, look at fitting an intercooler and running a limited torque "weak" stage 2 map (or a stage 1.5 if that pleases you)

Nothing will make a significant amount of power on these engines without a remap to match. The 1.6hdi sensor will run without a map, but it'll work like a heavy tuning box - ie knacker everything quick time.
