At the moment. If say im in 3rd or 4th low rpm and put my foot down as the car accelerates it feels like the steering goes loose and the car slightly goes to the right altho the wheel itself doesnt pull about.... its not torque steer

Ive also noticed under hard braking it wants to lurch to the right. not violently but its still noticeable

ive checked for play at the wheels... non on each.

it will go on a ramp at some point... just wondering if the symptoms sound familiar. ..

arron

How have you checked for play? i.e. what have you done?

Jacked up each side and pulled on the wheels. Back and forth and side to side.

both p bushes should be fine as they are less than a month old.... should.

Could it be a track rod end

Sorry sean

Karl tire pressures seem spot on 35psi

They will be motor factor ones yes... When the last p bush had gone I could feel it in how it drove through the wheel i.e over bumps and the wheel had play. This doesnt feel like that but suppose it could be anything on the wishbone.

Would a knackered tre or tie rod cause that kind of drive. It would definately knock the tracking out.

check P bushes, before you go any further.

I changed the P bushes on the mrs xsi some time back, because the handling was poor, 2 weeks after putting new ones on it developed a knock over bumps a week after that it was worse and started doing it coming on & off load, didnt feel like it did before, but guess what??? those cheap motor factor P bushes were completely destroyed after just 2 weeks and coursing all the knocking that was going on,

so defo check
