Has anyone had any experience of swapping the blank panels for ones with speakers fitter?
If so what the wiring like to do?

Pass easy mate
I got some crossovers just swapped them out If you don't have a tweeter in there to begin with 90% of the time.you will have wiring for it. I just ripped that out and used my own

Sorry im lost there buddy are you saying that the wiring for them should be in the door already?

If your adding mirror tweeters then 99% of the time you'll be swapping the fronts to components?
So just add the driver, crossover, tweeter and away you go!

It's easy. Just cut out a 2-3" hole with a large drill bit and run your own wire up to the tweaters yourself.
Just make sure you fix your tweeters into the holes with good adhesive, as sunlight will cause any inferior product to melt in the summer causing your tweeters to fall out. Let me know if you want pics.

you may have the wiring already in the doors to fit the stock speakers so it may plug straight in...
or you can get component speakers and wire in the tweeters to those... or you can keep your current blanks and cut them out... |
