Something odd on the Alfa
#1
Whilst doing some other jobs on the alfa at the weekend I noticed that in the lower bumper next to the fog lights are two air inlet,
the drivers side one has the AC rad just inside it
the passenger side has the intercooler.

a little bit of digging and I find that it left the factory like this but some of the cars had vent covers here, due to the impending road trip across Europe I didn't want to be running with no ac or a holey IC, so I have made some covers up.

bit of fabrication

orginaly silver mesh, but the wife didn't like that so I sprayed it Peugeot cosmos grey (same color as 406v6 coupe mirrors)

Tidy bit of work, and will probably save you several hundred quid in replacement AC rads or intercoolers.
