in my local scrappy they have a couple of xsara,s one vts/vtr and the other is erm green lol anyways they both have disc beams and both look to be in very good order so the question is will the beam fit my 306 is the xsara beam the same track width etc, also could i use the xsara handbreak cables.
i havent looked at the front ends yet but i take it they will have a bigger brake setup than my stock dturbo discs so would discs and calipers/carrier bolt str8 on to my 306

cheers

Yes and yes, it will also be an upgrade if you go for the vts one as the torsion bars and anti roll bars are thicker

.100% go for it

Front struts and springs will be better than your standard dt ones if they're in good nick, obviously if they're f*cked and leaking or anything then don't bother. Might as well grab the entire braking system, including the master cylinder, it should all be upgrades over dt spec.

the vts hasnt done many miles been a insurance write of (vandlism damage)
so with the rear beam and front struts and springs is the dt gonna sit the same height as before (stock) or will it be a lower and at the mo i am running stock 14 steels so will i need the 15 alloys of the vts and will i need any spacers

I think it'll sit a bit lower, but don't quite me on that, I can't quite remember

Also, if it's crash damaged, make sure nothing you get is bent or nowt obviously

You will need the 15s if you get the brakes, they won't fit under the stock 14s. And i don't think you'll need spacers, but not 100% sure
