hey guys in middle of fitting cambelt to 1.4 and cant seem to get it tight enuf got a 108x17 as thats wot cam off and gettin bout 10-15 mm play instead of the 6 stated in the haynes any ideas as to how to sort would b greatful

Which way are you turning the tensioner?

worth checking you have the belt all in the right position too

belt is all correct and ive tried turnin tensioner both ways
