Power Steering Ram Leaking Fluid
#1
How do

When I got the car and had the cambelt done the mechanic said when it was up on the lift he saw a leak coming from the ram.

I dosed it with stop-leak soon after and that seemed to do the trick until we had the cold snap and it started dripping again. Parked it in the workshop at work this morning and when came back there was a massive puddle of fluid underneath and its now leaving a nice patch everywhere its parked.

Is there a off the shelf seal pack available to strip it down and re-new the seals or is it better / more cost effective to just replace it? Found it on eBay for roughly £150 new not found any used yet.

Does anyone know if the Rams themselves are model specific? I might be getting a steering rack off a phase 3 1.4 just to get the ram off but don't want to buy it only to find out I can't use it.
