Hi, was in a 405 D turbo last and it was ticking over when suddeenly it reved up by itself and then stopped. It then wouldn't start again. Seems to be gettting diesel to the pump and we ran a live direct to the solenoid. Any ideas what could be wrong? The car is turning over, there is no smoke when cranking and will not staart with a tow! Thanks

Yea, meant to mention that, there's loads of derv in it! There's derv coming through the filter when you pump the bulb but none coming through when you take inj line off!

Bleed the air out the system, crack the unions on top of the injectors and turn the engine over, as soon as fuel starts pissing out tighten them up and go from there.

I've bled air out guys! I'm getting a steady flow of fuel to the fiilter head! Could it be anything to do. With the pump apart from solenoid? The pump and. Turbo were tuned and lda was Rotated And white washer removed! A new turbo was fitted recently and the pump was put back to standard!
