Causing a stir
#1
This has been causing a stir on a few forums:

Clicky

Its quite amazing that people can pull together for someone they do not know, even in the sad society that Britain is becoming today.

That said, I won't be going, sadly I am busy and do not have the money to go that far over the border...
Just a heads up for our 2 to 3 norther members if they fancy it, could be a good day out Smile

I still think it would've been better for the lad to go to Trax or somesuch similar event. Is Japfest II before his D-Day?

Just can't help but think a car park full of motors is a bit pants for a send-off.
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

I think you are missing the point a bit Chris. Trax or Japfest would be a 'better' event to go to if you were just an average Joe who wanted to see some nice cars, but for this kid, this meet up and all of the people there are there for him, it's his event. If he goes to Trax then he'll just be another one in a thousand people who have turned up to a commercially organised show which is all about profit.

As dan! says, its his day, everyone is there for him, and everyone is, or should be aware of the reason they are there.
When you get given a period of time to live, spend it a little differntly if it aint your cuppa tea... I just think its amazing his dad has managed to pull a feat of like this, for the love of his dying son... Very commendable if you ask me.
