So i found my nes the other day. Started playing it and graphics glitched out real bad.... so i figure strip it and give it a clean. Found tye little bugger at fault which was the 72 pin connector so got one on order.

Anyways while im poking around in its guts thinking of doing some minor mods. Nothing major to change the look but leds in tye vents. Just thinking keep the retro red and add vent glow. Also seen people do the controllers so the nintendo logo lights up.

ordered transparent red buttons for the controller too.
Final mod i will be looking at is disabling the region chip so im able to play usa games (cheaper to buy), flash my own catridges and run a famicom mod to use different jap catridges. Anyway should be a funny project [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

I collect them, but I don't really modify them.

one of the lads, when I was at school, used to collect old game consoles. I think he had about 5 at the time. Not sure if he is still in with all that.
I used to like messing about with microsofts old Operating systems.

Cannot help myself!

Laser*

Laser is an acronym originally for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation".

I'm sure I've got NES and a SNES in the loft at my parents house. I'll have to dig them out. Think there is an N64 too.
