As above ^
With regard to price, its largely going to depend on who does it...Its going to cost alot more to get a "generic" garage to do a job like this (if they will at all) than a Peugeot Specialist... Or someone who primarily works on these axles etc... Likely to be anywhere from £80.00 to £200.00 on the above basis.. And tbh these days, most beams are shagged when you get them apart, so add seals and possibly even beaerings into that price.. | Dyno Power Runs & Steady State Facilities Available, Just Ask Anytime |

I think krisb near Gatwick still does them at £90.
As Darren says though most are shagged so paying for a £300 rebuilt beam and then lowering it yourself might be a good option.

Im axles sell refurbed beams and im pretty sure they will send them out ready lowered to your spec. Not dealt with the company personally though so cant comment on quality

If the beam is taken apart and found to be in need of a rebuild, can it be put back to how it was without changing parts?
Just asking as a ptential rebuild to lower the rear an inch when it's currently running fine is pretty risky!

Not really, once you disturb the bearings that's it, they'll need to be changed if they're knackered.
There goes my plan to lower the rear end!
The front springs were replaced at different times and i'm guessing they're not the correct spec as they look lowered and one sits slightly lower than the other. But it makes the back angled even higher and looks weird!

Not dealt with the company personally though so cant comment on quality Never had a IM axle so cant comment my self on their quality but ive read its questionable. There is a guy on here called Stef205 who does beams for OC members cheap and knowing his OCD with car work, the quality should be very good!
