Anyone have a guide on how to remove an alternator? It's a 1998 306 D-Turbo and it has power steering and air conditioning if that makes any difference...
Many thanks

Jack up and support NSF corner.
Remove NSF wheel and splash guards. Remove tension off the aux belt. Remove belt. Undo bolts on PAS pump and rest it to one side. Take terminals off battery. Take the two wires off the terminals on the alternator. Undo and remove alternator bolts. Remove alternator. Do all the above in reverse! Wishes for more power...

I should have looked here first but I removed the alternator by removing all the bots including releasing the spring tensioner about the power steering pump. It was a squeeze but them managed to remove the alternator.
My question is re-assembly, I imagine the casting which supports the alternator power steering pump moves up and down with the spring tensioner. If this is so, is there more than one bolt locking the casting in place? I guess if I take the wheel of (which I didn't) and the splash guard, it may become apparent?
