If you're looking at a tyre that'll last longer, Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse - I loev mine, what I've got on at the moment, done probably 7k on them and they barely look worn tbh... Grip very well, best tyre I've owned in the wet... Can't rate them enough, a little bit more than the rest, but they've done me very well...

Same tyre I think - just a new name...
The "FastResponse" bit means they've got a mentally hard sidewall, you should have seen the poor tyre bloke trying to seat the beads... Was there for about 20 mins on each trying to get them to seat, went with a bit of a bang when they did go though :p

Another epic tyre is Michelin pilot sport 2s. I had them on my Saab and they were great! They only start at 16s though but if you want 15s, the pilot exalto is the same tyre just smaller sizes. I did about 1/3 of the tread in 10k and that was mixed driving.

As in mixed between 99% and 100% throttle position?
No. Stuck to 89% when the orange hateful light was on.
